# SentNodes > SentNodes is a real-time monitoring dashboard for the Sentinel dVPN (decentralized VPN) node network. It tracks node health, active sessions, bandwidth/traffic served, peer counts, geographic distribution, and operator earnings across the public Sentinel network. SentNodes is developed and operated by Busurnode. Every page shows public, free-to-access network data, refreshed continuously from the Sentinel network and from SentNodes' own live health checks of each node. Operator and admin areas require a login and aren't covered here. For data in bulk or filtered, use the public JSON API below rather than the HTML pages. Sentinel (https://sentinel.co) is a Cosmos-based protocol on which independent operators run dVPN nodes that sell bandwidth to clients. Usage is measured in sessions and gigabytes of traffic; node earnings are denominated in the Sentinel token (displayed as "P2P"). ## Main pages - [Network overview](https://sentnodes.com/): Network-wide aggregates - number of active nodes, the healthy vs unhealthy split, total active sessions, total traffic served, and network earnings, with recent trends. - [All nodes](https://sentnodes.com/node): Searchable, sortable, filterable table of every active Sentinel dVPN node. Each row shows the node's moniker, country, protocol type, health status, active sessions, and peers. - [Node detail](https://sentnodes.com/node/{address}): One page per node, where {address} is a Sentinel node address beginning "sentnode1...". Shows moniker, operator, location (city / country), protocol type, software version, current health status, and time-series history of sessions, traffic, earnings, and health checks. Each page links its JSON form (``). - [Providers](https://sentnodes.com/provider): Table of active Sentinel providers (accounts that lease nodes by the hour to serve their own users), with each provider's name, address, status, number of leased nodes and what it pays them per hour. - [Provider detail](https://sentnodes.com/provider/{address}): One page per provider, where {address} is a Sentinel provider address beginning "sentprov1...". Shows the provider's operator account, website, total hourly lease spend, and every node it leases with the lease's hourly price, hours paid of its term, renewal policy and start time. - [Node map](https://sentnodes.com/map): Interactive world map plotting each node at its geographic location, filterable by country and protocol type. - [Public RPC endpoints](https://sentnodes.com/public-rpc): Community-run Sentinel RPC endpoints with their current reachability, for developers who need a chain endpoint. ## Concepts - **Node**: a server run by an independent operator that provides dVPN bandwidth on Sentinel. Identified by an address beginning "sentnode1...". - **Operator**: the account that owns a node. A node address ("sentnode1...") maps to an operator account address ("sent1..."), which SentNodes links to blockchain explorers. - **Protocol type**: the VPN protocol a node runs - WireGuard, V2Ray, OpenVPN, Xray, AmneziaWG, or Hysteria2. - **Health status**: SentNodes independently probes each node and reports Healthy (responding), Unhealthy (reachable but failing checks), Offline, or Pending (not yet checked). This is SentNodes' own measurement and can differ from the node's on-chain status. - **Provider**: an account that leases nodes by the hour to serve its own users. Identified by an address beginning "sentprov1..."; it maps to an operator account address ("sent1...") the same way a node address does. - **Lease**: a provider's hourly rental of one node. It pays the node its hourly price once an hour for a term (its maximum hours), then renews for another term if its renewal policy accepts the node's price at that moment. - **Session**: an active client connection served by a node. **Traffic** is the total bandwidth a node has served, in gigabytes. - **Peers**: the number of clients currently connected to a node. ## Public API Read-only JSON at https://api.sentnodes.com: no key, GET only, 60 requests per minute per IP address (IPv6: per /64, 600 per /48). Every answer is an envelope, `{"success": true, "data": ..., "errors": null}`; a failure has `"success": false` and `errors: {"code": ..., "message": ...}` (404 for an unknown node, 422 for an invalid filter, 429 when rate limited). - [List nodes](https://api.sentnodes.com/v2/nodes): `GET /v2/nodes` - every node SentNodes knows, inactive ones included, with `data.nodes` and `data.pagination` (`total`, `perPage`, `currentPage`, `lastPage`, `hasMorePages`). Query parameters: `page` (from 1), `per_page` (1-200, default 200), `type` (wireguard, v2ray, openvpn, xray, amneziawg, hysteria2, or 1-6), `active` and `healthy` (1/0, true/false or yes/no). Example: https://api.sentnodes.com/v2/nodes?active=1&healthy=1&type=wireguard - [One node](https://api.sentnodes.com/v2/node/{address}): `GET /v2/node/{address}` - one node by address (case-insensitive), with its daily `traffic`. - [Your IP](https://api.sentnodes.com/v1/myip): `GET /v1/myip` - the caller's IP address; `?type=text` answers in plain text. Node fields: `address`, `moniker`, `version`, `type` (1 WireGuard, 2 V2Ray, 3 OpenVPN, 4 Xray, 5 AmneziaWG, 6 Hysteria2), `connection`, `api`, `asn`, `country`, `city`, `isResidential`, `isActive`, `isHealthy`, `isDuplicate`, `isWhitelisted`, `gigabytePrices`, `hourlyPrices`, `leases`, `sessions`, `peers`, `errorMessage`, `fetchedAt` (ISO 8601). ## Data - [Sitemap](https://sentnodes.com/sitemap.xml): All indexable URLs, including a page for every active node. ## Optional - [Busurnode](https://busurnode.com): The team that developed and operates SentNodes. - [Sentinel](https://sentinel.co): The decentralized VPN network that SentNodes monitors. - [P2PScan](https://p2pscan.com): Sentinel blockchain explorer; each node page links the node's operator account ("sent1...") to its P2PScan page (https://p2pscan.com/address/{account}) for on-chain transactions and balances.
